St Regis in Sarasota Now Open

The highly anticipated St. Regis Longboat Key Resort, located on Sarasota County’s side of Longboat Key, has begun welcoming guests with a soft opening. This marks a significant milestone as the resort, perched on 18 acres of pristine beachfront along the Gulf of Mexico, is the largest development on the island in the last 50 years.

The resort’s location, once home to the iconic Colony Beach and Tennis Resort, has undergone a dramatic transformation over the past three years. Now, the St. Regis Longboat Key offers a luxurious getaway featuring 168 rooms, multiple pools, cabanas, and over 800 feet of private beach. The resort also boasts a unique saltwater lagoon, home to stingrays, tortoises, and tropical fish, adding an element of natural wonder to the experience. A highlight is the 21,320-square-foot Gulf-front St. Regis Spa, offering a wide range of signature treatments and amenities, such as a Finnish sauna, eucalyptus steam room, snow shower, and infinity-edge vitality pool with stunning Gulf views.

The resort’s dining options are designed to cater to a variety of tastes. Four main dining venues include CW Prime, a sophisticated steakhouse; Riva, a Northern Italian restaurant; Aura, which serves Latin American cuisine; and Oshen, a rooftop lounge offering Asian fusion dishes. The resort also features The St. Regis Bar, The Monkey Bar, and Caroline’s café. While most of these establishments are now open, CW Prime and Oshen will make their debut during the resort’s grand opening in late September. Notably, Oshen will be exclusively available to hotel guests and members.

With an average room rate of $1,200, the St. Regis Longboat Key Resort sets a new standard for luxury in the area. Guests are treated to a sophisticated blend of comfort and style, with every detail designed to enhance the guest experience. Whether enjoying a relaxing day at the spa, dining at one of the waterfront restaurants, or exploring the serene beauty of the Gulf, the resort promises an unforgettable stay.

As the resort continues to prepare for its official opening, it stands as a new beacon of luxury on Longboat Key, reflecting the area’s rich history while offering world-class amenities.
